Goodie Girl Lands Exclusive In-Flight Deal with JetBlue

Ridgefield, NJ, December 4, 2020 Goodie Girl, a naturally delicious cookie brand, announced something sweet will soon take flight on JetBlue.  Goodie Girl cookies is joining JetBlue’s roster of complimentary inflight snack offerings on all domestic flights through 2023!

“I always have cookies in my bag, I’m like the Mary Poppins of sweet treats,” said Shira Berk, Goodie Girl founder,” which was an especially good thing when she found herself seated next to JetBlue’s inspiring CEO Robin Hayes on a flight to New York several years ago. “My business was just getting off the ground and he graciously listened to my entrepreneurial ramblings while enjoying some Goodie Girl cookies. We agreed the future of in-flight snacking should be super sweet for all travelers, and their desire for natural treats made from simple ingredients.”

Travelers returning to the skies on JetBlue will be treated to single serve Goodie Girl Mini Homestyle Chocolate Chip cookies, baked exclusively by the brand for JetBlue. The mini cookies use only the finest quality ingredients like whole grain oats, butter, eggs and rich dark chocolate chips to make amazingly delicious thin and crispy cookies baked without gluten, corn syrup or artificial ingredients.  The recipe was inspired by Berk’s desire to create a perfect cookie that tastes homemade.

“We are always looking for new ways to enhance the experience of air travel and we can think of nothing sweeter than a homestyle cookie made by a JetBlue customer for JetBlue customers,” said Mariya Stoyanova, director of product development, JetBlue.  “A journey begins the moment the plane takes flight and we’re thrilled to offer a delicious chocolate chip cookie that also happens to be nut and gluten-free. We take pride in JetBlue’s complimentary snack offerings and always aim to tap into compelling consumer trends by teaming with brands we trust.”

“I started Goodie Girl in Mi Kitchen es Su Kitchen, a commercial kitchen incubator right down the street from JetBlue offices, and every time I passed by, I dreamt of having our cookies available on board,” continued Berk. “Years later, we’re thrilled to share our homestyle cookies with JetBlue customers, giving them a little ‘home’ away from home.”

Goodie Girl cookies are naturally delicious, gluten free, kosher and do not contain artificial preservatives or high-fructose corn syrup. If consumers want to try Goodie Girl’s delicious Homestyle Chocolate Chip cookie at home, they can find the regular 7 oz. version at their local Whole Foods Market.

  1. Hi, I love the choc chip cookies but they are nowhere to be found – I’ve checked Whole Foods and your website.

Will we get to purchase them outside of flying with JetBlue?

  2. First time having this brand of cookie on jetblue flight 1881 to NYC n back to Houston. From then I know i must hv more.

  3. Can’t find brown sugar crunchy oat flour cookies anywhere! How can you promote your business if the public can’t purchase your brand???

    • Our Brown Sugar cookies are brand new and exclusive to Jet Blue fights at this time. They will be available on Amazon too but there was a slight delay. You can purchase other flavors on amazon.com/goodiegirlcookies. Sorry for any confusion.
